OK, OK so I have been absent for a little while. I apologize but I have had some things to attend to over this past week... we affectionately call them 'Thing 1' and 'Thing 2', or is it 'this one' and 'the other one'... OK, maybe it's just Olivia and Kira. Anyway, busy at work, busy with the kids, and doing some home care to get a little cash together for the trip to Korea; from what I understand, not a cheap city. Anyway, off on another tangent....sorry. But you know what, if you don't like stream of consciousness thinking or cannot handle subject changes on a whim, that's too damned bad, it's my Blog. And you all know me anyway... OK, back on track.
OK, how do you say I-600 in Korean?
Well, 'I-600 in Korean' I suppose.
Anyway, the USCIS has graciously granted us our I-600 approval to bring Cooper into the United States.... as long as it is before November, 2007 when our fingerprint records are null and void. And if something were to happen that made us wait that long, you would not want to be around us anyway. That pretty much sums up our paperwork responsibility. Now we just have to wait for Korea to distribute Cooper's EP (Emigration Permit) which basically gives him permission to leave Korea. We are very hopeful this will come shortly and are keeping positive. Unfortunately they only release EPs once per month per agency. On the good side is that they have not seemed to release any EPs yet in March which means there could be a large number released all at once. Following EP approval, Cooper would be prepared to leave and come to our home; he would have a final well baby check and a few other document processes. We would then be prepared for the 'last minute' travel call and off we go.
Off we go.. hmmph... I have spent endless hours on the web searching Korean websites in order to get some idea of how to act, what to eat, where to go, what to do, etc., etc., etc. so as not too make too much of a fool of myself. Needless to say, I have no worries about Susan; she can certainly fit in whereby I have a tendency to stick out like a sore thumb and can be a little embarassing at times. I have printing paper after paper with good foods, common foods, FOODS TO AVOID. I am kind of excited to try out some new things, and even Susan has offered to try out some different dishes. However, I do believe that her specific requests were 'nothing raw, nothing with tentacles or eyeballs, and no bugs'. I also have a feeling she will avoid the Cow Kneecap soup as well. Of course, we have found the 12 TGI Fridays locations, Outback Steakhouse, McDonalds, Burger King, Pizza Hut, and needless to say Starbucks just in case!!!
If you care to check some things out yourself, here you go:

So, little mister Cooper... when you finally get the chance to come home, here is what awaits:
crib
dresser
changing table
crib/ dresser
animal blanket
nice pictures and border
And with that being said, some small changes for Olivia and Kira:
Can you believe Olivia's growth?
Hello Kitty? sorry I cannot show all the new furniture, but being a 6 y/os room, you can only imagine the mess on that half of the room.
And lest we forget wee little Kira....
The princess and her royal bed chamber
the neatest this room has seen in a while
OK... that's enough information right now. I have to get to bed early tonight. I have to spend the whole weekend at a continuing education course.. ugggh!!!! If you would like I can scan the syllabus and outline and you can read all about Advanced Treatment Concepts for the Arthritis Patient.
Peace and Love.....
