Since I greeted everyone on Mother's Day, I thought I would take the free time allotted to me on Father's Day and update the BLOG a little...
Hello??? Cooper feels the need to answer the phone for us... and considering he is up to about 20 recognizable words, probably not too much worse on the phone than me.
And HIGH FIVE is in order...
Well, hope everyone is enjoying their spring into summer activities....
Olivia is finishing first grade and will be a second grader next year... SHUT UP!!!!! when did all that happen?!?!? When I get a chance I will have to share a few of her short stories that she has written over the past year.... something tells me she will follow in mom's footsteps and excel in English in some manner...
Kira has also finished her first year in preschool. Understandably it was only 2 half days per week, but all in all she did well. She made some new friends and even went to her first 'invitation only' Birthday party... One of the funny things is that she became good friends with a young girl who just happens to be the daughter of a friend of mine from high school.. we sat 2 seats apart in every home room from freshman to senior years... Now they are on course to repeat the trend in 10 or so years....
And finally there is our dear Cooper.... as you have read (or did not... see BLOGS below....) that he is now sleeping in his own bed from 7:30 - 5/6 AM.... What an accomplishment. And he is actually more fun to put to bed now than the girls. And he is quickly picking up on language... he repeats everything you say. And we just cannot believe how lucky we have been to join lives with such a sweet, loving, beautiful little boy as this....
Oh yeah, lest we forget the newest member of the family... Cho Chang (familiar to those who are Harry Potter fans as his very early love interest)... As you can see, apparently she is quite comfortable with me... Like Snoopy on his perch...
OK... enough for now... Cooper is up from his nap and I think I have to go to Costco (first time in Manahawkin!!!!) to get some stuff.... maybe I should call my credit card company to put a limit on my account before I go to keep me from coming home with a 58 inch flat screen, new computer, and entire side of Kobe beef?!?!?
Talk later....
