Hope all your summers are going well..... are they going well? If I knew more about links and such I might be able to put in a poll to see how everyone's summer is going. But, alas, I do not so forget I even mentioned it.
Anyhooo...... here's how things stand around this nape of the neck, nape of the woods...... neck of the woods.
I just got back from a really cool seminar for Sports Medicine and rehab over the weekend. And while the information was good and faily well validated the care and treatment I give to my patients on a daily basis, the REALLY cool thing was the location. We stayed all weekend in the NovaCare complex in Philadelphia where our company has partnered with my beloved Philadelphia Eagles in a state of the art training facility. (just click on an 'X' to see different areas. We were in the auditorium, team meeting rooms, and cafeteria mostly). It is just so cool to see all of the pictures and players and history from the early days until present. And the auditorium and meeting rooms are so coll because the seats are nice leather with reclining backs, and some of them are HUGE to be able to fit the lineman. Anyway, really cool!!!
As for the home front, hopefully everyone is getting over the illness we seemed to pass on to each other for the past 1-2 weeks. But overall the kids are having a GREAT summer. We do a little swimming at Mimi and PopPop's pool, a little beach time, and various other things.
Everyone enjoyed the time over my friend (softball teammate) Sal's house when we had a weekend off over the 4th holiday weekend. Liv was all about diving in...
Something tells me Cooper is getting more comfortable in the water... what do you think? And of course this must be the precursor to learning to dive..... yeah that's me under there... and we did have some more mellow moments... it's nice to be able to let him swim a little without constantly holding him...
Kira is also a little water bug... do you think she has enough flotation?
Olivia, ever the cautious one, is even getting a little adventurous in the water.
Nice day for Uncle Jeff and his 2 attachments we call Liv and Kira.
And it wouldn't be a family celebration without Uncle Greg and cousin Luke. A little bravery here as well.
More fun was had at the Ship Bottom bay beach. Olivia just loving to dig up the bottom....
And just a few odds and ends of stuff...
Kira think she is just 'all that'
Cooper feeling entitled to whatever may be on the counter... not matter whose it is.
Nice to see another little artiste... have to be happy that all three of them liked to draw, color, and read...
And one more cool thing... check out the cool web along the mail box. Susan just caught it in the early morning light one day.
If you are interested in the complete collection of July photos (although the majority of them are right here... here you go...
OK... enough for now... Have some other stuff coming soon: fun and adventure in August including Holt Family Day at the Steel Pier in Atlantic City....
Be back soon....
