Easter Parade?
Environmental Protection??
Exciting Prospects???
hmmmm... let's try Emigration Permit...
Yeah, I think that may be right. Well, it certainly sounds right because we just got in touch with Holt and they reported to us that Cooper had his EP approved. EP stands for his Emigration Permit, which is the Korean paperwork required to obtain an exit Visa. It is almost the last step in this long process. The last 2 things that are required are Visa approval and travel physical. Basically, Holt Korea now takes the EP to government officials to request an exit Visa, which usually only takes about 3-5 days, followed by arrangement of a medical checkup to assess his ability to travel, which again only takes but a few days.
So it appears that all of this may be happening at a rapid pace and could lead to travel within the next {GULP} 2 weeks; this is based on all the information gained from different sources including people who have traveled, Holt officials, our social worker, and other families waiting just like us.
So, as we get additional information, I will certainly post it. For now, we have some planning, shopping, and maybe even a little packing to do.
Annyeong kaseyo.
